HOW TO JOIN
In order to join, you must attend our meetings and be willing to work. We will not tolerate horseplaying, as our meetings are very important and we have limited space and time.
JOINING
No, you do not have to be an expert engineer to join our robotics team or even have any knowledge about robotics. What you do need is to have a skill in what you do best and implement it into robotics, which can be in art, music, graphic design, coding, etc. All you need is to be willing to do the work and have a drive for what you do.
PROCESS
Whether you want to an engineer or not, we can help you amplify your skills in whatever it is that you are into! Rockstar robotics isn't just about building robots but its also a way to learn new skills and build from your mistakes.
SKILLS
When you join Rockstar Robotics, you aren't expected to know everything. To be honest we aren't expecting you to know ANYTHING! When you join, a team member will show you all you need to know for becoming a productive member of the team!
STAGES
Here at Rockstar Robotics, members are divided up into three stages!
1. Fan: The basic member/Guest.
2. Roadie: More experienced, but still with limitations.
3. Performer: Very experienced and can be trusted with 99% of things.
Now, you may be wondering to yourself...
"What must I do in order to advance the stages"
Well, there are a multitude of ways! Most are pretty simple and done without thinking.
1. Be respectful to your teammates and equipment
2. Come into meetings with a bright and eager attitude
3. Work as hard as you can and follow all the rules.
4. Have fun!
