Rock Star Robotics Basics
Back in 2010, Lee Wilson and Angel Price noticed that the children of today spend too much time on career options that are purely up to chance (and a small one at that), the two of them then decided to start a robotics club inside of a "Boys and Girls Club" in hopes of attracting young minds interested in the program.

We are a competitive robotics team. Inspiring others through robotics and teaching them that math and science are just as fun as being a rock star! Inspiring young kids of all ages and ethnicity in learning new skills. It teaches them about facing failure and innovation. Exposing more students to robotics is a great way for young members to get more involved in the STEM and engineering world. Robotics teams provide hope, stability, even uncertainty. Robotics inspires students who face barriers in education and even the ones who face other difficult situations. It brings everyone together and builds on a foundation. Teachers, parents, and volunteers who become involved help open doors to new opportunities for students and even the mentors that are involved as well. The community, that is made up of these individuals believe that the power of education can change lives.
